Out of the various aspects of data science/analytics, data visualization is one of my favorite aspects. Helping people understand and see that data is so awesome and rewarding.
Being able to tell a story with data or communicate insights into data is significantly easier, if not necessary, with well designed visualizations.
I have been a recent participant in #MakeoverMonday#MMVizReview and I credit that framework (along with the people like Eva, Sarah, Andy) with much of my improvement in terms of data visualization and Tableau work.
