Strictly speaking I am an sql analyst/dev before anything else though my real love is building things, with anything though I usually stick to SQL, VBA and of course - Tableau (and occasionally Qlik and PBI too).
Currently I am to be found in the London set of Tableau devs, been playing with the tool for longer than I care to remember (September 2008) and yet, I still it still surprises me.
One day, I may have enough time and money to attend a conference but in the meantime, I mostly spend my time over at the Tableau community (tbh I've had my public profile for quite some time now but only discovered it 4 years later ho hum).
